Fibre Splicer Job

We are looking for Qualified / Experienced Fibre Splicers to carry out works in multiple areas in . The role will entail working on Fibre Optic networks both Underground and Overhead on existing infrastructure. Self-employed personnel and employees will be considered for the role.

The ideal candidate will meet the following expectations:

Essential:

- Experience with splicing on Openreach Networks.

- Experience in OH and UG Node Building (FDN).

- A full understanding of Job estimates and FNC’s.

- N23 Certification.

- SA001 Certification – Overhead safety.

- SA002 Certification – Underground Safety.

- Street Works Accreditation.

- Chapter 8 certified with all equipment (if using own vehicle).

- Tetra leaning ladder safety Certified.

- The ability to send accurate and timely reporting.

Desired but not essential:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Fibre Splicing.

- Experience in Fibre Optic testing and completing Light Loss Reports.

- Ribbon splicing experience.

- CSCS card.

Current DBS checks will be required for any successful applicants.
